I know times are tough for many people. We were skating along doing pretty well over the last year or two and then suddenly, finances have gotten REALLY tight for us, too. It’s definitely no fun, is it?
One option to consider if you’re trying to make it from pay day to pay day might be title loans Wisconsin. Yes, it’s a risk, but you can sign over the title to your paid-for car and get a loan. These are generally short-term loans, paid back in full 30 days. Another plus — there’s no credit check and you only need to deal with minimal income verification to secure the financing.

Well, David always walked a different road. From the start, with a brother two years older than him, he set about trying to keep up with Daniel, yet he always wanted to do things DIFFERENTLY than Daniel did them. He has always been a scrapper, too, ready and willing to tousle for his principles.
Last week, after turning 18 on February 4, David cemented the plans he set into motion some time ago.
David enlisted in the delayed entry program for the United States Marines. He has a departure date of December 3, 2012, at which time he will report to San Diego for basic training.
My reaction? Stark, unadulterated FEAR. This is NOT what I had envisioned for my son. Don’t get me wrong…I am so thankful and grateful to our armed forces for protecting and preserving our freedoms. The thought of my son becoming a soldier is a lot for this mama’s heart to bear, though.
I will support my son through this journey, though, and I have faith that he will be a strong and courageous marine.

Well, David got his license and a new (to him) car in one day! I’d say he had a pretty good Monday, all the way around. I’m just glad he won’t be needing Olympia Motorcycle Gloves. There was a time in his distant past when he was spouting nonsense about buying a motorcycle, but I think for the time being we have steered him away from that. No offense to motorcycle drivers and lovers, but that would be one of my worst nightmares to know that a child of mine is scooting around on two wheels and a powerful engine.

In the back of my mind, I have a lot of ideas on ways to market and sell handmade jewelry that I want to make. I think at least some of my items would sell over the Internet, but it would be nice to sell items personally also where people can have a chance to see and touch everything before purchasing.
This is where a trade show comes in. There’s lots to think about if you’re going to start marketing your business or service in trade shows, through.
Some items you should probably purchase include trade show flooring, trade show carpet and even a bright and eye-catching logo canopy with your company colors and logo on it to attract customers.
I know, it’s an expense that you might not want, but I think these items will pay you back in sales when your booth attracts people who want to buy your items or services. You can use your trade show equipment over and over again, too. In fact, after outfitting yourself with a high-quality booth, that just might motivate you to get yourself out there and be present at more shows — which can translate directly into more profits!

What a day we’ve had today!
For starters, David took and passed his driver’s exam first thing this morning.
Then, I happened upon a much-needed windfall from a neighbor who provided us with something that we really needed. It was such a blessing!
Third, we found out that Lora and Chad will be having a BOY this June. I had not made it a secret that I was really hoping for a little blue bundle, so I am very excited!
Fourth, I got news that a job I interviewed for last Friday was awarded to me. I start training tomorrow as an Administrator for an editing company. I’m excited and nervous…
Don’t you just love days like this when everything just seems to be aligned for you?

I’ve always considered myself so lucky that I don’t get migraines. When I was growing up, my dad used to get what he called “tension headaches” that resulted from the high stress of his legal practice. I remember him having to go to bed and sleep them off. Gradually, he learned how to use exercise to keep the headaches at bay and I can’t remember the last time he had one. I seem to have inherited this tendency and when I get upset or stressed, I can count on a headache. I’m just glad that I don’t have anything debilitating like Franklin migraine. How on earth do people function and get through life with migraines? I’m so glad there are treatment options!

Hey webmasters! Anyone who owns and maintains a website probably knows at least a little bit about how important it is to build links
for your website. What is building links, you ask? This involves getting your link out there on other quality websites. Google gives more weight to websites that have backlinks, so do a little work to promote your website.
If you consider yourself a beginner, then a great place to start is by collecting a few free links. After you start collecting those first links, you’ll be ready to move on to bigger and better things. Try a free link exchange that will really get the links rolling in. There are websites out there with special services designed to help webmasters promote and build backlinks to websites.
When your website needs to rank and you rely on good search engine placement, building links is one of the most important foundations you can spend time creating. Once you get this foundation laid, your website will be ready to bring in the returns as long as you keep it stocked with fresh and unique information.

While I’m not in the UK, people in any region of the world can enjoy delivered flowers. Who wouldn’t love fresh flowers by post uk?
This is the time of year when I can usually stand a dose of color in the house. It’s cold, gloomy and snowy day after day outside. Inside, life can get a little monotonous as we traipse through day after day of the same school routine.
I may not have anyone standing by ready and waiting to perk up my life…so why not do it myself? I can totally see ordering a bouquet of flowers for myself… or maybe a blooming plant that will get me through the winter until it’s time to get out into the garden and dig again.
If I feel like I need a little inspiration, there’s always great websites out there with a plethora of useful and helpful flower information. Take a quick peek at the pages here and it won’t be hard to choose a bouquet or plant that I would love to have.
So, how about you? Need a winter pick-me-up?

Have I mentioned that our family is growing again?
Lora and her hubby are happily expecting number three for their family at the end of June. Not the ideal season for baby hats, but little people can use a hat in any month of the year. They already have a girl (five in March) and a boy (he was three last October). Our tally for grandchildren is three girls and one boy…so I readily admit that I am SLIGHTLY partial to the idea of another grandson…but obviously we will be thrilled with whatever comes.
The big ultrasound is in early February, so we don’t have long to wait until we find out…as long as babe is feeling cooperative!
Hospitals always have a generous selection of newborn hats available for the new baby…but I’m particular. Many times, I’ve brought along my own hat for a new little one…one that I’ve made myself or purchased especially for the new little head. I would especially a knit baby hat, so I think this new baby might like one, too! What could be better than a first hat from Grandma?

It’s a bittersweet thing to write about this. David has loved drums since he was a little boy — always drumming on something or another. This naturally led to him learning how to play drums and becoming quite talented at percussion. He’s had a full drum set sitting in our front room for as many years as I can remember. Now that he’s turning 18, getting ready to graduate and formulating his plans for after high school, he’s decided that he wants to sell his drum set. I admit the prospect of having that monstrosity out of my living room is appealing, but I’ll be sad to see it go, too.
Maybe instead we could settle on an electronic drum set. Something that doesn’t take up as much room, yet delivers the same sound and playing experience. I hate to see him turn his back on his drums and it seems like an electronic version of the same thing would fit our purposes well.
