Perfume Challenges

Once upon a time, my dear husband bought me a bottle of expensive perfume. This was probably 15 years ago at least. I wore it faithfully, because HE bought it for me. Soon, it became my signature scent.

THEN…a very sad thing happened.

People’s sensitivities to synthetic scents became so strong that I could not longer, in good conscience, wear womens perfume out in public any longer.

The thought that a perfume I was wearing made someone ill is not something I want to have on my conscience.

So…I’ve embraced just smelling CLEAN instead of smelling fancy. Your thoughts?

  1. I do the same. “Clean” is a good smell and doesn’t bother anyone. I do have a little of The Body’s Shop White Musk that I wear every once in a while (I’m almost out, and we’re on a tight budget). The Body Shop is more conscientious about what they put in their products, and it’s one of the few scents that does not bother me.
By the way, we’re expecting grandbaby # 3 in Sept. So excited! 🙂
