Updates!

It’s been awhile, so I thought I would catch up. Summer is starting to gear up for us, yet we still have a couple of weeks of school to finish. Not a lot of stuff, but stuff I’m not willing to forgo at the same time.

David will begin his job at the pool next week and he’s pretty excited about that. It’s fun watching him prepare for his first real job and I am looking forward to seeing him succeed.

Sarah has a busy summer planned. She will be volunteering at the library, taking some summer school classes, working at a local organic farm helping in the fields on top of all of her other regular things around the house. She’ll be pretty much a blur, I’m thinking.

Michael is gearing up for baseball and is very excited to have the same ball coach he had a few years ago that he really hit it off with. Michael will also be taking some summer school classes and will be swimming on the local swim team.

Ruthie is playing ball, swimming on the swim team and taking swim lessons.

Abby and Isaiah have swim lessons planned this summer and they will be trying hard to keep up with everyone with everything else.

As for me…I’m seven weeks out! How can that be?!? I’m beginning to panic a little bit. When Isaiah was born at 35 weeks, that is only two weeks from where I am right now…and I’m not ready! Lots to do yet…

This weekend we are anticipating Lora and Chad and kids coming up and a baby shower is scheduled for Monday afternoon, thanks to Sarah and my mom. Sarah has been working so hard on all the preparations and I know it’s going to be so much fun.

We babysat Maddie yesterday while the guys went to a Brewer’s game and it was so much fun having an extended time to spend time with her. She was a really good girl, too.

We are also looking forward to a visit from the in-laws in July. No idea whether we’ll have a baby by then or not…but the plan is to have a new little one to show a Grandma who lives far, far away.

I guess that brings us up to date. I need to get a hold of hubby’s memory stick to grab some pictures of some of the things we’ve been doing lately – you’d love them!
