Flu Update

It’s going to be a while before I am up to worrying about things such as spring plungers…whatever they may be.
I am popping in to take care of a few posts that cannot wait and then I am back to bed. As of now, everyone seems to be sick except Daniel and hubby. Daniel isn’t home much, so that probably explains that…and hubby is just plain stubborn, so that explains that. Everyone else is in various stages of feeling pretty sick.

So is it swine flu? It sure seems to be going around both here AND at home! A number of schools in Korea have closed and who knows, John’s school may be next, especially with the life and death exams coming up in just over a week. And I kid you not, these exams are a matter of life and death. It’s the exam for 12 graders that determine what college they get into, the ACT/SAT x100! It’s BAD! Students literally do not have a life in middle school and high school because it’s such a big deal and some even commit suicide because the pressure is so intense. It’s pretty crazy. But yeah, doctors are recommending that the government shut down the schools for a week so that none of the 12th graders miss the exam due to swine flu. Should be interesting to see if it happens though a number of schools and private English institutes have had closings already.
