New Phone Already?

I was helping David pick out a new cell phone a few weeks ago and so was spending a fair amount of time browsing around looking at cellular phones. I just got my smart phone a year ago and I seriously love-love-love this phone. I know some people buy a new phone almost yearly…but honestly…I would miss my little MotoQ so much if I were to replace it. How often do you replace your cell phone?

  1. We just finally got our first actual cell phone, usually we just get tracfones. It’s okay but the fact that it’s a Korean phone has made for some difficulties especially with trying to get the mp3 player to work. Still, it’s a nice phone and something that actually calls out unlike the landline phone here which has been set up to not call out at all, not something I enjoyed considering I stay behind with a three year old every day while John works.

Yeah, we’re WAY behind the times as far as those things go; we tend to use our cell phones strictly as a phone, usually to reach John when he’s at work or coming home from work (especially when he was working in Madison and we still lived in Beaver Dam). That they can be used for just about anything still boggles my mind and is probably something I’m not going to be getting into for some time. Maybe someday! lol

  2. I use mine till it breaks. I’m using a HP iPaq now, it does the job + more. I see no sense in chasing technology when there’s no way we’re ever going to catch up anyhow LOL.

  3. Well, I just change my cell phone once in 2 years..
In The Netherlands you can get “free” (sometimes you have to pay a small amount of money for it..) cell phones when renewing your current contract with cell phone provider or when you switch to another one..
For example: I just got my new cell phone (toy) with a new contract with a new cell phone provider… HTC Touch PRO2.. I just love the phone! ;)
