Re-evaluating Insurance Needs

My husband has been a realtor for almost our entire marriage. For some of those years he was able to make a steady income from representing primarily buyers. His specialty was helping first-time buyers find a home. It was quite rewarding because often these people just assumed they could not be homeowners. Being able to help them buy a home and realize this dream was satisfying for him.

As the housing market has been crashing over the last several years and the face of residential real estate has changed drastically, he has been forced to find other means of earning a living. There just isn’t a lot out there for a realtor to do anymore.

One thing he has been doing as he scales down his real estate business is re-evaluating the many different kinds of business insurance that he has always had to protect himself. We’ve been able to save quite a bit of money on some of the changes he’s been able to make in this area.
