Sick…GAH!

We are suffering our first real colds of the winter. Considering it is over half way through February, I guess I really shouldn’t be complaining…but I am…because…
I…AM…SICK!
I do not do sick well. In fact, I make a lousy sickie.
In addition to myself, Sarah, Michael, Ruthie, and Abby are all sick too.
It’s a lovely beast we have. Head colds are really bad for some…others of us have more of a chest cold. I am of the latter persuasion this time around and I have it really bad in my chest. This feels like the typical precursor to laryngitis…which I have the misfortune of getting more than I feel I deserve.
Stay tuned…I’m sure there will be more complaining tomorrow!

If you got what I got nailed with, yes, expect to lose your voice. Bleh. I’m still having issues with mine but maybe it is because Natalie’s been extra difficult lately. Then again, the Super Bowl didn’t help either. But this one has definitely been a doozy and on top of that, I got nailed with a stomach bug! So, it was a combo of head AND chest cold along with stomach bug. Joy. But I think we’re finally getting out of it. Just warning you though, it’s a nasty one and it does last awhile.

Kathy, I feel for you! I was sick nearly four weeks out of January. I was so sick of being sick!!! LOL
And having a bunch of sick kids, too, would make it so much worse! Won’t it be great when spring gets here?!!!
