Online Dating Isn't Taboo Anymore
DateMesh has a simple goal. They want to become the Google of online dating. Can this be done? Perhaps so…they just need to be able to provide the desired data for their customers. Well…DateMesh has done that. All that is necessary is for a customer to define what they’re looking for and the potential partners from ALL online dating sites are presented to them!
I had already found the man of my dreams before the arrival of the internet so I was never in need of using an online dating service to find a mate. However, from what I understand, online dating is growing rapidly and people are getting much more at ease and comfortable with the idea of finding someone online. In these tough economic times finding companionship can be very important. The taboo associated with online dating has disappeared at this point and what is left is a huge opportunity for people to utilize the internet to find a lifelong partner.
Just out of curiosity, I wanted to know what the predicted growth of online dating is. This is what I found:
According to a report published by Jupiter Research entitled, “US Paid Content Forecast, 2007 to 2012″, online dating sites are projected to increase from $900 million of revenue in 2007 to $1.9 billion in 2012, or an increase of 16% over five years.
Seems to be a service that is here to stay.
