This has NOT been a good day.

I am formally having to say good-bye to my second KitchenAid stand mixer. Whilst mixing cookies this afternoon I suddenly was horrified to smell an acrid “electrical-type” smell coming from the motor.

We were done with our cookies so hastily turned it off. After turning it back on for a second or two (just to make sure I wasn’t imagining things)…we turned it back off and it looks like I have just seen the end of my SECOND KitchenAid pro stand mixer.

I cannot believe how I wear these things out! This one lasted longer than my first one, but SHEESH! NOT what I needed today…
