How about we talk about taking a little winter getaway? I’m up for it! The snow is really piling up outside my house right now. Seven inches in almost finished falling for today and tomorrow morning another seven is set to dump! Almost unbelievable if it weren’t actually happening.

Anyway, this is about the time that we start wishing we could get away. Branson has some great Winter Escape Packages available right now at these two hotels:

• Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing

• Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel

I was just doing a little dreaming as I was looking at these sites and let me tell you what my intinerary would consist of if we did something like this:

1. Sleep
2. Eat
3. Shop
4. Swim

I have never taken any time to explore Branson, even though it really isn’t that far away from where we live.  It’s definitely an easy day’s drive.  Some day I would love to do something like this and either the Hilton Promenade or the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel sound like they would be beautiful places to stay.  I know they have great shopping down there – lots of outlet malls and such – I could definitely enjoy myself!
