Blowing Snow, Ballet, and Basketball
That’s quite a combination, eh?
Yesterday evening, despite heavy snow that had been falling and blowing since about noon, we ventured out. Sarah had ballet at 7 (and it was visitors night) and the boys had to be over at the high school at about the same time to play in the pep band for a girls basketball game. So, we dropped them off first and then went over to Sarah’s ballet.
Her class this year is quite challenging I was happy to see! She has the director for her teacher and the girls seem to be working very hard to learn a lot of new and difficult things! Sarah is doing very nicely and we had a good time.
From there, we decided that instead of just picking the boys up, we would actually go and watch the game! We got there with about five minutes to go until half time. We watched the half-time stuff and then stayed for the rest of the game and it was really a good game. The two teams traded points back and forth the entire time staying within a few points of each other. In the end our girls pulled it off and won with a five point lead.
We left, slodged our way home through the continuing-to-blow-snow, and called it a night.
I do have some pictures from all three girls dance classes…so stay tuned!
