Save On Prescriptions
Since Kelvin has been born, I have watched Lora struggle with issues involved in diagnosing and treating his reflux. I have never had a baby or child who needed daily medication like that, so I have been so fortunate not to have to deal with figuring out how to pay for it or how to make sure that it is covered by insurance. Then there is always the co-pay, as well, and that can be so pricey, too. With the economy the way it is, we are all pinching those pennies a little harder and it sure is nice to find new ways to save money.
I was just reading an editorial on CONSUMER NEWS TODAY that was very informative. It is reviewing the new Free Rx Card program that is available to help consumers save up to 75% on prescriptions at over 56,000 pharmacies.
These cards are accepted at pretty much all of the pharmacies I have ever heard of…many of them right in my neighborhood…and this is a neat program. Listen to how it works!
Simply go on their website and generate a FREE card.
Your average savings will be 20% – 50%…depending on the type of drug. Generic drugs will usually have larger savings than brand names. You can also use the card to save money on lab and imaging tests and diabetic testing supplies.
This is great too: No Personal Information is needed to Generate a Free Pharmacy Card.
If you’re interested, go to their site and check out the participating pharmacies. I’m betting that your pharmacy is on the list!
