We took Daniel up to Madison today for his ACT. While he was taking his test, hubby and I went off on errands all by ourselves! What a treat that was. At one point, he even snuck away and returned with some red roses. He is seriously earning points with little things like that, I tell ya!

We replaced our very leaky kitchen faucet. I would have picked something a little pricier, but we just couldn’t swing that. What we picked will be fine and I can’t wait for him to put it in!

We also bought a replacement for a door to an upstairs bedroom. Unfortunately, hubby is downstairs right now attempting to saw off about an inch and a half because it turns out that the clerk at the home store was wrong and they are NOT all standard measurements! GAH!

I got part of my weekly grocery shopping done and was planning on finishing the rest tomorrow, but it looks like we may be in for some ice and snow…so we shall see.

Poor Daniel…when we got home he went promptly to bed for a nap! He was exhausted!
