OK – this one looks like it will require a bit of thought so here goes. I guess I will just ramble on and try not to scare anyone too much with anything too random or weird about me…LOL

1. I absolutely abhor misplacing things…so much so that I go out of my way to avoid it (by being uber-organized). If I do lose something or misplace it for a time it will bother me mercilessly until I find it. Right now…as a matter of fact, I cannot find my little plastic box that I keep my crochet hooks in! I have turned my sewing room on its ear and can’t find them! If you were a crochet hook…where would you hide to drive me batty?

2. I have a thing about typos, misspellings, and grammatical errors. My own writing must be as perfect as I can make it. Other people’s errors always jump out at me as well. I used to be an administrator in a large message board and I even used to feel compelled to edit members’ thread titles from time to time if they had misspellings or typos in them!

3. I love pens and just about all office supplies. I could get lost in an Office Depot for hours without running out of steam. It seems like office supplies feed my love of organization because I am constantly looking for new and better ways to stay organized at home.

4. I hate the beach and I hate sand. I have no idea why…but all of that sand getting in between toes and everything getting covered in grit just drives me insane. It’s unfortunate, because alas I am the only one in my family who feels this way. Everyone else loves the beach…sigh.

5. I like reading the dictionary! Seriously…I like words. I like finding new words and learning old ones. It’s cool.

6. I need an immaculate bathroom at all times. I can’t stand stray hairs on the floor or anything that makes me feel like it isn’t pristinely clean in there.

7. I am deathly…yes deathly…afraid of heights.  This fear is compounded about a thousand times when any of my kids are anywhere high as well.  I absolutely freak.  No one else in my family (except my dad) understands this fear so they just barely humor me when I am freaking.
