I try really hard to use at least one picture for every blog post that I write. I think it really adds a lot of interest to any writing and just makes a post so much more enjoyable to read.

I wrote about Acobox about a month ago and their service for finding blog pictures. Since my last review, I am happy to say that they have now improved their service even more! Whereas you used to have to use IE to utilize their service, you can now use Firefox…this improvement definitely made me an immediate and vocal fan of their service.

Here’s a little info about Acobox. They collect, screen, and host quality pictures especially for bloggers. All of the images you will find on their site (and their selection is impressive!) are properly licensed, optimized, and ready use on your blog without any resizing or anything! Best of all – it’s free!

Do you like my picture of Indian Corn? I admit to being a little preoccupied with Thanksgiving at the moment so I had to find something befitting a Thanksgiving theme. To add this cool picture to this post, all I had to do was log in to my account (I had already created my account), search for the image I wanted, choose the size I wanted and copy the code. It was so simple you almost won’t believe it…but I’d encourage you to see for yourself!
