I come from and long and distinguished line of quilters and women who love (or loved) to sew. All along my maternal side are women who have spent countless hours creating heirlooms and works of art with fabric. Yes…it’s in my blood and my love of fabric runs very, very deep.

For this reason, I love to surround myself with beautiful, high quality textiles. Window coverings, pillows, bedding, throws, quilts…I love variety and color and the beauty that fabrics add to any room. One thing I especially enjoy is the way fabric can change and brighten a room. You don’t have to do elaborate painting or redecorating to update or freshen a room – just add a splash of color with a new fabric and the transformation is amazing!

When autumn comes each year, I get the urge to create warmth and there is no better way to do this than with fabric. I found some absolutely lovely fabric at Robert Allen Fabrics today. Not only do they have exquisite fabrics, but they also have custom window treatments and bedding! Very reasonable prices too, I might add.
