I know how hard it can be to fit your blogging pursuits into everything else you have going on in your life. Believe me…I know! It’s a constant struggle being obsessed with your precious blog(s), isn’t it?

I just found out about the coolest software designed especially with bloggers in mind. It’s called Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Standard.

Here’s what it can do for you, the blogger:

Can you even imagine how much time you would save if you could have your words entered at a speaking rate instead of a typing rate? For what it’s worth…an exceptional typist can probably type about 90-100 words per minute. We speak at approximately 150 words per minute. Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Preferred will take your words and enter them into your computer as you say them. No more sitting at your computer straining your eyes and hands and wrists! This will give you the freedom to get up and move around. I think I heard the developer even say he’s done it while driving. I don’t think I would actually do this while driving, but I could totally see doing it while I was a passenger in a car.

As a blogger who also happens to be a very busy wife and mother with tons and tons of things pulling at me every day, I would absolutely LOVE to get my hands on this software and see how I might be able to save myself some time and also give myself a little freedom as I create blog material. I plan on reading everything I can from NYT on Dragon and if this is really what it seems to be I know what I need to have to make my life just a little more manageable.
