Deposit Your Checks Electronically

I just heard about a brand new technology that anyone who deposits checks into bank accounts in the US would be interested in. It’s really quite neat. It’s called DepositNow and here’s how it works.

All you need is a check to deposit, a PC, and a scanner. From there, you pass your check through your scanner and it transmits to your bank electronically. All without stepping foot outside your home! Saving gas anyone? Yeah!

Anyway, it is not necessary to change banks. This can be done with your current bank as long as you are in the United States. The scanner that has been developed for this purpose retails for $225. Apparently this is about half the price of what a check scanner costs and this scanner for $225 can be used as a regular scanner too. That works!

This service isn’t priced on their site because you really need an individual business quote because the price depends upon how many checks you deposit per month. This service is not prohibitively priced, though. It’s affordable.

Here’s a bonus for both you and me: If you sign up for this online deposit service and enter Is8Enough as a promo code, you get $25 off the price of your scanner and I get $25 too! How cool is that???

I tell ya, the convenience and what you’d save in gas prices alone make this a very interesting idea. This is a little known service that more people should know about!

Agghhh! It’s like the Godfather III. I try to get out but they keep pulling me back in-25 dollars at a time. I wish I still got paid by checks I want to sign up. But I own my own little me-company.

Looking at your other post-you have an actual sandbox? Wow. I always think of them as just an expression.

And speaking of sandboxes, I should be out of the spambox tonight-it only took 7 days of commenting at my own blog and extracting myself…

Yayyyyyyyyy - no Dave in my spambox! Happy Day!

Yeah, $25 is big enough to not ignore, IMO.

We *do* have an actual sandbox, although I was lazy and the sandbox in that picture is not ours. LOL. Our sandbox is actually a boat that the kids play in, on, and around.
