I’ve had a pretty long streak between tags, but last night Karlana got me, so here goes:

1) What was I doing 10 years ago?

Hmmmmmm…that’s a good one. I always remember things by the benchmarks of my children’s ages. So…ten years ago, Lora would have been 11, Daniel almost 7, David 4, and Sarah 1. And that was all! I only had 4 kids then! Sheesh…I must have had a LOT of spare time on my hands. NO! Just kidding! Anyway, we were still relatively new to homeschooling and I must have just been getting ready to finish up teaching 5th grade to Lora and 1st grade to Daniel. Wasn’t pregnant yet with Michael, but that would have been coming in a couple of months.

2) What are five things on your to-do list for today?

I’m heading out to do my weekly shopping in a couple of hours. I have a ton of laundry to catch up on when I get back. I need to straighten up our schoolroom. Fix supper. Work out. If I’m lucky, I’ll find some time to work on an article I need to finish for a website I write for.

3) What snacks do I enjoy?

I’m trying really hard to control my snacking right now. If I’m just letting it all hang out, I’ll always go for something sweet. Nowadays, I’m sticking to fruit.

4) Things I would do if I were a billionaire?

I’d pay off all of our debt, get my parents and his parents squared nicely away for the rest of their lives, make sure all of my kids (and grandkids) had a nice nestegg set aside for school and other stuff, and then I’d focus on the children in our country who have been left behind and need help to get past the situations in their lives that are setting them up to fail.
