Catching up…
Life just keeps humming along. We have been battling some spring colds. I rarely get sick, but I’ve managed to catch this one and it’s not fun. I don’t “do” sick well. It’s a sinus headache, head cold AND chest cold all wrapped up in one lovely bundle.
The kids don’t understand why I’m not up to my normal routine as I really don’t get sick that often. So…life has been a bit slower than normal around our house.
We’re finishing up school and already looking ahead to summer schedules. This summer promises to be a doozie. Hope I’m ready for it!

I think ALL kids end up thinking we are Super Moms and wonder why we are not on hyper speed all the time when those rare occasions come along where we get hit hard with some kind of illness. It seems to have happened more often than usually in the past few months for me.

And I hope you feel better. Last time I felt like that, I drowned myself in a nice steamy hot shower with one of those shower tabs from Vicks - I think that is who makes them. Pick one up at Wal-Mart, it does wonders!

I sympathize with you because I have that yucky chest cold right now too. Plus I have an awful canker sore in my mouth with it. You’re so right…it’s not fun!
