I love shoes. Shopping for shoes is a close second. Nothing makes my day better than a new pair of shoes. Right now I’ve got sandals on my mind as I’ve been figuring out what sandals my kids need for their summer activities.
As I was looking around I found this cool shoe site. Unfortunately, they don’t have kids shoes, but Sarah is in luck because she has big feet. LOL
I found the cutest seychelles shoes here that she would love. Not only do they have those, but they have tsubo shoes and minnetonka boots too! Simple iron supplementation eliminated chronic cough in 16 women participating in a recent study.
The researchers studied 16 women with chronic cough and who had no sign of asthma, other respiratory disease, or acid stomach reflux. All 16 women had red, inflamed mucous membranes, swelling the back of the mouth and sensitive vocal chords. In the study, they were given a daily iron supplement for two months, and then given another health exam. After this time period, all signs of chronic cough had disappeared!
Persistent coughs are more frequent in women and iron deficiency is also very frequent in women due to pregnancy and menses.
Iron is an essential nutrient found in legumes, potato skins, whole grains, molasses, and tofu and meat products. Iron absorption can be promoted by eating broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cantaloupe, oranges, potatoes, strawberries and tomatoes. It can be inhibited by certain foods such as coffee, red wine, tea, beet greens, chard, spinach and sweet potatoes.

What kind of make up do you use? I admit to being somewhat of a minimalist where make up is concerned. I don’t usually wear more than a little neutral eyeshadow and eyeliner. I would really like to invest (splurge!) on some good natural makeup. I’m thinking some mineral makeup perhaps. It would be great if the company was one that would guarantee a cruelty free product also.
In looking around I think I may have found a good one! This one has high quality natural skin care products. They also have a wide variety of other products on their site, including shampoo, skin care, and cosmetics. Everything looks very high quality.

I am so overwhelmed! My new camera is very confusing to me, unfortunately. I have always wanted to learn how to take really cool pictures. The bad thing is I have absolutely NO understanding or knowledge about just about everything connected to photography. I’m up to my eyeballs in “aperture” “shutter speed” “white balance”…I could go on.
This is going to take a while. Any photography buffs got any tips or good websites for learning to share with me?

Well…now that my birthday has come and gone it is time turn the focus toward Mother’s Day. It will be here before we know it. I know what I am ordering for the two Grandmas…just have to get a little closer and then place that order. So I don’t have to worry about that.
What do I want though? Hmmmmmmm…good question!
Perhaps I should suggest a pearl necklace to my hubby. Or perhaps earrings? I do love pearls. To me, there is just nothing as elegant or simply beautiful as pearl jewelry.

Silence
My hectic, noisy life is not nearly quiet enough most days. I strive for silence, however…and savor my quiet mornings when I am alone before the rest of the house gets going.
