Well – I’m surprised, but this is Abby’s favorite birthday present from yesterday. She got a barbie house and new barbies too, but this one is the winner, according to what she told me.

This is a little Sansa Shaker MP3 player. It’s 512 mb capacity, but has expandable capabilities. So far, this seems to be adequate for her. Here are a few things we like:

• jump to the next song by simply shaking
• other fun system sounds like “uh-oh” for low battery (we’ve heard this one already!)
• built-in speaker to enjoy music without headphones
• Adding music is simple

This cute little thing was reasonably priced and so far not only Abby likes it, but the others do too.
