I could use a vacation. It is ugly around where I live right now. The snow is almost gone and what is left is dirty and mushy. Thoughts turn to getting away. Then thoughts turn to get-aways of the past.

I remember back when I was not afraid of heights. My fear of heights seems to have come upon me since becoming an adult. Back when I was a kid it didn’t bother me in the least. One time that we were in Chicago when I was a teenager we went to the top of the Sears Tower and spent a long time up there sight seeing. If I remember correctly, it was dark and the city lights below us were truly spectacular. I also remember watching a significant fire from up there. Some building burned to the ground. Looking back you would NEVER get me to the top of any building like that. Don’t know what happened to me.
